In this second episode of the three-part series “Influenza and Diabetes,” Drs. John Russell and Neil Skolnik discuss the consequences of influenza for persons with diabetes, the specific benefits of influenza vaccination in persons with diabetes - including new information on the cardiovascular benefits of influenza vaccination in diabetes - and discuss the details of currently available vaccine choices.
