Diabetes Core Update is a monthly podcast that presents and discusses the latest clinically relevant articles from the American Diabetes Association’s four science and medical journals – Diabetes, Diabetes Care, Clinical Diabetes, and Diabetes Spectrum. Diabetes Core Update Special Edition - SGLT2 Inhibitors Part 3: Beneficial Effects on Heart Failure Endpoints– March 2021
In this third episode of a three-part series on SGLT-2 inhibitors Drs. John Russell and Neil Skolnik discuss the effects of the SGLT-2 inhibitors in heart failure in persons with and without diabetes. In episode 1, Drs. Russell and Skolnik discussed an overview of the CVOTs for the SGLT-2 inhibitors and in episode 2 they focused on renal outcomes.
